My husaband I participated in a webinar, in the Great Decisions Series of the Foreign Policy Association, last night on—surprise—China. I am such a fan of this series because it brings real people together to consider timely policy decisions for our nation. We both wished it had gone on much longer but it was late and we all have lives.
The fellow who invited us to speak was actually in Israel. We all hate so many effects of Covid but the use of remote venues for speakers and participants is an incredible advance for so many reasons. Not a substitute for being in person but so valuable. About the only positive score for Covid in three years!
What struck me about the kibbitzing before the webinar started was this fellow’s reaction for what he is seeing on the ground in the Middle East.
