COL David Maxwell, USA retired, will provide us a much needed reminder that all is far from easy on the Korean peninsula these days in our next webinar on Monday, 20 March from 1900 East coast (sorry about that for those who are east of here. We can find a fix if you are interested in his topic!!). Dave spent his career in Army Special Forces, splitting much of the time between Korea and the Philippines. I met him when he returned to his alma mater, the National War College (2004) as a faculty member. He remains extremely active in the field but wearing civilian attire these days, recently assuming the position of Vice President at The Center for Asia Pacific Strategy. His topic will be ‘north Korea: The Neglected Security Challenge’. If interested, I will shoot the link as we get closer.
