Spa Creek dumps into the Severn River by the U.S. Naval Academy and the Compromise Street bridge between Annapolis (1649) and Eastport (1664). A few miles from the confluence of these two bodies, the Severn moves into the Chesapeake Bay, ultimately finding the Atlantic Ocean miles south near Norfolk and the Tidewater of Virginia. Small craft up to majestic sailboats and glitzy powerboats cruise the Creek from mostly April through early December. On a beautiful day like today, this view is impossible to beat.
Unfortunately, along with a lot of interesting stuff I learned in Victoria last week, I seem to have picked up a nasty bug which is testing my ability to remain upright in a chair muchless thoughtful.
Enjoy the photograph as it never ceases to amaze me how grogeous this country is in places. I hope we do not share this bug! FIN
Even from a partially reclined position, you should be able to benefit from the healing power of that amazing view. Thanks for sharing it--even via photo over the internet it has a beneficial effect on those of us not able to enjoy it in person :-) I hope you will recover quickly, take care.
Get well soon.
