Andre Harvey was an American sculptor who specialised in two fascinating aspects of his craft—and my use of craft is with only the absolute highest level of respect as I would use it for an unparalleled teacher. He worked in the ‘lost wax’ method and he found animals, especially four legged ones, absolutely fascinating. Regardless the subject, Harvey meticulously studied to gather its details, then translate them into sculpture.
