One of my pet peeves is people trying to make money off of the freely offered online contributions of others. I am so tired of going out to a site which supposedly is a technical non-profit site which is so add filled it defines the mind simply to travel through the online document find the answer. Another is the constant affiliate, let me make money off of your buying something I sent you to view. Gosh guys. Too bad Mary Kay and Tupperware didn't have the world wide web back the day. At least for those events you had a pretty good idea of it being a sales event when you walked through the house doorway, and you were handed an ice tea and a cucumber sandwich to enjoy while you canvassed the dinning room table filled with items for sale. And, if someone needed a phone number for a neighbor or acquaintance, its really nice to know that within the US there are no longer any phone booths nor phone books, at least I haven't seen a printed version in 4 years. How are the homeless in CA going to call for those health and human service appointments, take the call for scheduling up their apartment/job search? We are drowning in all this FREE information which is of no real value, while starving for access to the simple facts that can change our lives for the better.
